The full 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training consists of 8x2-hour weekly sessions, a half-day retreat plus handbook and audio guides.  It is designed to help you learn and develop the skill of self-compassion. MSC is a major development in Mindfulness approaches that teaches core principles and practices which enable participants to respond to difficult experiences in their lives with kindness, care and understanding. Three key components of self-compassion are: self-kindness, a sense of common humanity, and balanced, mindful awareness. Together they comprise a state of warm-hearted, connected presence.

Self-compassion provides emotional strength and resilience, allowing us to face our shortcomings, motivate ourselves with kindness, forgive ourselves when needed, relate wholeheartedly to others and be more authentically ourselves.

Benefits of developing Mindful Self-Compassion include:

Increase in emotional wellbeing

Decrease in anxiety depression and stress

Handle difficult emotions with greater ease

Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism

Help to manage caregiver fatigue

Transform challenging relationships, old and new

Practice the art of savoring and self-appreciation
